Account Types

Bear Decisions supports both Personal licensing via Stripe and Enterprise licensing via Microsoft.

Both options offer monthly and annual subscription plans to suit your needs.

🎁 Beta and Trial Periods

During the beta period and an individual's trial period, no license or payment setup is required. You can use Bear Decisions freely to evaluate the platform before committing to a subscription.

Personal Licensing (Stripe)

Personal licensing is designed for individual users and is tied to your email address. This makes it perfect for independent analysts, consultants, or small teams who need Bear Decisions for personal or small-scale use.

Key Features

  • Email-based: Your license is tied to your email address
  • Monthly or Annual: Choose the billing cycle that works for you
  • Individual Access: One license per email address
  • Stripe Payment: Secure payment processing through Stripe

Purchasing a Personal License

  1. Navigate to the start page
  2. Choose between monthly or annual billing
  3. Enter your email address
  4. You'll be directed to Stripe to complete your purchase

Managing Your Personal License

You can manage your Stripe subscription, update payment methods, view invoices, and cancel your subscription through the Stripe customer portal. Access is available at settings.

Note: Appropriate links to purchase or manage your personal licenses are also available from within the Bear Decisions application under the Settings tab.

Enterprise Licensing (Microsoft)

Enterprise licensing is designed for organizations and teams. Licenses are tied to your work or school tenant (Microsoft account) and can include multiple seats, making it ideal for larger teams and organizations.

Key Features

  • Tenant-based: Your license is tied to your work or school Microsoft tenant
  • Multiple Seats: Purchase multiple seats for your organization
  • Monthly or Annual: Choose the billing cycle that works for your organization
  • Azure Integration: Bundle into your existing Azure purchasing processes
  • Seat Management: View and manage seats through the Enterprise Administration portal

Note: While Bear Decisions supports both Microsoft SSO and OTP type of authentication, the enterprise licensing requires the use of Microsoft SSO.

Seat Assignment

Enterprise seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. When a user from your tenant first accesses Bear Decisions, they automatically claim an available seat. The purchaser (subscription owner) can view all seat assignments and has the ability to remove users from seats if needed.

Purchasing an Enterprise License

Enterprise licenses can be purchased through Microsoft Marketplace or directly from Azure:

Azure Integration Benefits

Enterprise licensing through Microsoft offers several advantages:

  • Centralized Billing: Bundle Bear Decisions into your existing Azure purchasing and billing processes
  • Unified Management: Manage your Bear Decisions subscription alongside other Azure services
  • Organizational Control: Leverage your existing Microsoft tenant and SSO infrastructure
  • Enterprise Workflows: Integrate with your organization's procurement and IT approval processes
